Next Step Living is an extended care environment designed to help men over the age of eighteen who are seeking relief from alcohol and drug addiction and related issues resulting from substance abuse. Next Step Living is a safe place constructed to provide an environment which allows recovering men time to heal and learn how to lead happy, joyous, and free lives.
Next Step Living offers a moderate therapeutic program where each person is dignified by being treated as an adult and granted a level of trust that can foster each individual's exploration on the journey toward living free of substance abuse and experiencing the benefits of a happy and healthy life style. To accomplish this, we have designed a program to meet the specific needs of each recovering person through the development of an individual treatment plan, weekly lectures, group process, one-on-one sessions, family conferences and daily participation in the 12 Step fellowship. All staff places great emphasis on respect for each resident's right to privacy and confidentiality.
We believe that drug and alcohol addiction affects each person physically, mentally and spiritually. We work with our residents on each of these levels of recovery. We also believe that people who suffer from addiction can and do recover in an atmosphere conductive to a healthy lifestyle. We have found such a place here in Delray Beach, Florida that we believe naturally fosters a nurturing atmosphere for work in all three of these dimension of life affected by this deadly affliction. Our primary purpose is to guide and facilitate the recovering person in the practice and use of proven available tools that can build and support the foundation of a lifestyle free from the bondage of addiction.
